MCP Abilities – Wordfence v1.0.2 Released

We’re excited to announce the release of MCP Abilities – Wordfence v1.0.2, a new add-on for MCP Expose Abilities that brings Wordfence security management to the Abilities API.

What’s New

This plugin adds 8 new abilities for managing Wordfence Security directly through the MCP API:

  • wordfence/get-status – Get overall security status including firewall mode, last scan time, and issue counts
  • wordfence/list-blocked-ips – List all currently blocked IP addresses
  • wordfence/block-ip – Block an IP address temporarily or permanently
  • wordfence/unblock-ip – Remove an IP from the block list
  • wordfence/list-scan-issues – List security issues found by scans
  • wordfence/list-lockouts – List IPs locked out from failed logins
  • wordfence/unlock-ip – Remove an IP from the lockout list
  • wordfence/whitelist-ip – Add an IP to the allowlist

v1.0.2 Improvements

  • Full compatibility with Wordfence 8.x using the new wfBlock API
  • WordPress.org Plugin Check compliance
  • Proper database query escaping and security best practices

Installation

  1. Install MCP Expose Abilities (core plugin)
  2. Install Wordfence Security
  3. Download and install MCP Abilities – Wordfence

This brings our total MCP abilities to 91 across 8 add-on plugins!
